Job Summary

The Markting Manager is responsible for controlling and supervising employees’ performance, ensuring the proper delivery of information regarding the bank’s services and facilities to customers, and overseeing marketing activities in line with the objectives set by the bank.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting practical work, training, performance evaluation, and capacity building of staff related to the position.
  • Supervising all marketing activities, customer acquisition processes, and the promotion of the bank’s services and facilities.
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies in accordance with the bank’s objectives and policies.
  • Conducting customer surveys, assessing market conditions, and analyzing competitors to improve marketing performance.
  • Designing, implementing, and facilitating the annual marketing strategy.
  • Supporting and implementing marketing plans based on market needs and the bank’s targets.
  • Developing marketing strategies in alignment with bank policies and market conditions.
  • Planning and managing the operational budget of the marketing department.
  • Preparing marketing materials according to customer and market requirements.
  • Developing promotional materials, including print advertising.
  • Managing the bank’s social media platforms and publishing content.
  • Collaborating in the preparation of strategic plans and presentations.
  • Working with branches to design and implement Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Making decisions regarding the recruitment of marketing staff.
  • Establishing and managing a marketing team to produce effective advertisements.
  • Managing daily marketing activities and maintaining communication with various organizations.
  • Identifying market needs for current and future products and services through market research and customer engagement.
  • Building trust, promoting value, effective communication, innovation, customer focus, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
  • Supervising marketing activities of bank branches and conducting field visits.
  • Coordinating with different departments to promote bank services and facilities.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the Chief Operation Officer or Deputy Chief Operation Officer.

Education, Experience, and Required Skills

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in Economics or a related field. A higher academic degree in relevant disciplines will be given preference.

Required Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in a similar position.

Other Skills:

a. Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office programs and familiarity with banking systems in use.

b. Languages:
Proficiency in national languages (Dari and Pashto) as well as English.

c. Administrative Correspondence:
Strong skills in official and administrative correspondence (letter writing, reporting, and documentation).
