ACBAR TRAINING PROGRAM FOR NNGOs IN AFGHANISTAN
Strengthening NNGO Capacity Through Standardized, Professional Development Trainings
ACBAR’s Training Department offers professional development trainings for the staff of Afghan national non-governmental organizations (NNGOs). These trainings are designed to strengthen participants’ institutional capacity, technical skills, and leadership within the humanitarian and development sector.
Building on nearly a decade of experience in organizational development support, ACBAR delivers a flexible, demand-driven training approach tailored to the specific needs of each organization. Trainings combine targeted learning sessions, practical skills-based modules, and structured peer-learning opportunities that enable participants to exchange experience and apply new knowledge directly to their day-to-day work.
By strengthening organizational systems and practices, these trainings enable NNGOs to deliver higher-quality humanitarian and development interventions and to build more resilient, sustainable institutions over the long term.

Fees and Registration
Training services are provided free of charge to ACBAR member organizations, while a modest service fee applies to non-member organizations: 700 AFN for one-day trainings and 1,000 AFN for two-day trainings. All fees collected are utilized to conduct the trainings, including offsetting the costs of training materials, food and refreshment during the trainings, and other administrative costs. This fee represents only a nominal commitment contribution, as actual training costs are considerably higher and are subsidized by ACBAR.
Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to organizations that register early. ACBAR member organizations do not need to register separately, as invitation links are sent directly at least one week in advance to nominate staff.
