Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning training

A Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) training was conducted at ACBAR’s main hall in 2 different batches: the first batch from August 11-15, 2024, and the second batch from September 2-5, 2024.

The training aimed to strengthen the skills of SHAPE TPP partner organizations in implementing effective MEAL systems. A total of 57 participants (20 females and 37 males) attended the training, representing a range of NGOs.

The first batch (August 11-15) was attended by Kabul-based NGOs, with 32 participants (10 females, 17 males). The second batch (September 2-5) primarily included NGOs from provincial-based NGOs with participants 25 participants (5 females, 20 males).

The training covered essential MEAL components, including monitoring and evaluation methodologies, creating accountability mechanisms, and fostering a culture of organizational learning. Participants were introduced to various MEAL tools, and practical exercises helped them build the skills needed for monitoring project outcomes, ensuring transparency, and facilitating feedback loops.
