Postal services in Afghanistan have a history of more than a century. These services were first laid in 1870 for the first time during the reign of Amir Shir Ali Khan, which witnessed significant ups and downs due to changes in the political, social and cultural spheres. In 1928, Afghanistan became a member of the World Postal Union and in 1968, a member of the Asia-Pacific Postal Union, in order to expand its postal relations and strengthen ties with the rest of the world.

To offer and develop traditional and modern postal services that meet the needs of customers and compete in the market nationally and internationally; The change of legal personality has manifested itself.

The goals of the Afghan Post SOC include:
• Providing postal services with credibility, acceptable and accessible to customers
• Development of postal services
• Launching lucrative digital services
• Providing employment opportunities
• Provide postal facilities to postal customers
• Development of postal network in the country
• Growing the quality of traditional and modern postal services
• Compliance with global postal laws and standards
• Adapting postal service quality standards
• Expanding relations to governmental and non-governmental departments
• Partnership and cooperation with the private postal sector

1. طرح وترتیب پلان های کاری برمبنای پلانهای کاری ریاست مربوطه
2. تعقیب، رعایت و تطبیق قوانین، مقررات، فرامین، مصوبات،طرزالعمل ها، لوایح کاری، احکام و هدایات مقامات ذیصلاح
3. ارائه طرح ها و مشوره های مسلکی جهت بهبود در عرضه و توسعه خدمات مربوط
4. طرح، دیزاین و انکشاف زیربنای شبکه طبق نیازمندی‌های شرکت در مطابقت با معیارهای بین‌المللی
5. مدیریت پروژه‌های توسعه زیربنای شبکه دفاتر مرکزی و ولایتی
6. نصب، تنظیم  و نگهداری تجهیزات شبکه وسایر وسایل مربوطه
7. مدیریت، نصب و تنظیم نرم آفزار‌های مجازی سازی مربوطه به زیربنای شبکه
8. نصب و پیاده‌ سازی سیستم‌عامل‌های سرور دارای جواز بدون جواز
9. تنظیم و مدیریت خدمات Active Directory، WDS، WSUS، DNS و DHCP
10. اخذ معلومات ذخیروی از سیستم های جهت تآمین حفظ مصؤنیت اطلاعات
11. تحلیل، عیب ‌یابی، مستند سازی و حل مشکلات تخنیکی شبکه و ارائه راه‌ حل‌های مؤثر آن به آمر مربوطه
12. مدیریت و نظارت بر سیستم‌های ارتباطی شامل شبکه‌های LAN، WAN و بی‌سیم (Wireless)
13. انتقال مهارت های مسلکی و آموزش ها به تیم عملیاتی شبکه
14. رعایت اصول در حفظ و مراقبت از وسایل و تجهیزات دفتر
15. ارائه گزارشات کاری از فعالیتها و دست آوردها به آمرمربوطه
16.  اجرای سایر وظایف که از طرف مقامات ذیصلاح برایش سپرده میشود

• داشتن تابعیت افغانستان
• سن وی حد اقل ۱۸ ساله باشد
• درجه تحصیل حد اقل لیسانس کمپیوتر ساینس باشد
• یک سال تجربه کاری در بخش مدیریت یا معادل آن برای لیسانس، ماستر بدون تجربه کاری
• مهارت ها در بخش VMware ESXi، Citrix Hypervisor  و Microsoft Hyper-V داشته باشد
• به زبان های ملی تسلط کامل و به زبان انگلیسی بلدیت داشته باشد
• توانائی تامین روابط و هماهنگی با ادارات محلی را داشته باشد
• شخص مخلص، مبتکر با سیرت و صورت مطابق به شریعت اسلامی باشد
