New Society Reconstruction & Development Organization (NSRDO) is a civil, nongovernmental, nonpolitical & nonprofit organization, founded by a team of committed Afghan citizens. The main areas of focus of the organization are equal access to justice and services for women, reduction of domestic violence, rehabilitation of battered women and abused children. We also work in peace building, enhancement of democracy, defending of human rights, Health and Education. NSRDO commenced its operations in 2005 in the Northern Province of Baghlan. Since then, (NSRDO) has been operating in Kabul and other provinces of Afghanistan and has regional offices in Kunduz, Kandahar, Herat, Paktia and Jalalabad along with its head office in Kabul.
NSRDO was registered in the Ministry of Planning, by decision no (951) dated 25/6/1383 and entitled to work in the capital Kabul and other provinces. This is also reregistered in the Ministry of Economy by decision no (598) dated 8/6/06. Furthermore, NSRDO is registered in Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, US Embassy and European Commission.

Job Description:
- Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard the office premises, assets, and personnel.
- Monitor access points, including entrances, exits, and parking areas, to prevent unauthorized entry and maintain a controlled environment.
- Conduct regular patrols of the office premises to deter theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, such as alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activities.
- Control access to the office building by verifying the identity of individuals, checking credentials, and maintaining visitor logs.
- Monitor the movement of personnel, visitors, and materials entering and leaving the office premises.
- Enforce access control procedures, including the issuance and retrieval of access cards or keys.
- Provide guidance and assistance to office staff and visitors on security-related matters.
- Monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct regular inspections of the office premises to identify and report any safety hazards or security vulnerabilities.
- Report any security breaches, incidents, or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities and office management.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services as required.
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a calm and effective manner.
- Take appropriate actions to mitigate risks, such as evacuating personnel, contacting emergency services, or implementing emergency protocols.
- Provide first aid, CPR, or other necessary assistance until professional medical help arrives.
- Participate in emergency drills and exercises to maintain preparedness.
- Maintain accurate and detailed security logs, incident reports, and shift handover records.
- Prepare and submit regular security reports to office management, highlighting security concerns, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with office staff to investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions.

* Minimum high school diploma (12th grade) or equivalent.
* Previous experience in security, military, or police service is an advantage.
* Good physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for long hours.
* Basic knowledge of security procedures and safety protocols.
* Ability to observe and report suspicious activities accurately.
* Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and discipline.
* Good communication skills (basic English is an advantage).
* Ability to work in shifts (day/night) and under pressure.
* No criminal record (must provide background check if required).
* Basic understanding of emergency response procedures (fire, theft, accidents).
* Ability to handle access control, visitor management, and reporting logs.
* Familiarity with using security equipment (CCTV, radios, alarms) is a plus.
