Strengthening Resilient Communities Through Integrated Healthcare and Humanitarian Response

Union Aid (UA), an international humanitarian organization with a long-standing presence in Afghanistan. Since its establishment in 1979, Union Aid has been delivering integrated humanitarian and development assistance across Afghanistan, with current operations in Kabul, Balkh, and Kunar provinces, focusing on healthcare, nutrition, WASH, livelihoods, education, emergency response, and protection.

Over the past six months, Union Aid has provided integrated primary healthcare, nutrition, mental health, and WASH services through 14 health facilities and more than 100 community health posts, reaching approximately 289,968 people, including internally displaced persons, returnees, host communities, and other vulnerable groups.

By expanding access to quality healthcare, improving maternal and child health services, strengthening nutrition and hygiene awareness, and supporting emergency health responses, Union Aid continues to improve health outcomes and build the resilience of communities across Afghanistan.
