Where Childhood Thrives, War Does Not
We are happy to feature War Child Canada, an international humanitarian organization that has been working alongside Afghan communities since 2001. Operating across ten provinces, the organization delivers integrated programmes in child protection, education, health, livelihoods, youth development, and humanitarian response, supporting women, children, youth, and vulnerable communities.
Over the past several months, War Child Canada has continued to provide essential protection, education, health, psychosocial support, and livelihood services through close collaboration with local partners. By the end of 2025, the organization had reached more than 1.8 million women, girls, boys, men, and community members, including people with disabilities.
Through its integrated approach, War Child Canada continues to strengthen community resilience, safeguard children's rights, expand opportunities for youth and families, and support communities in building safer, healthier, and more hopeful futures across Afghanistan.
