Request for Quotation (RFQ): Rehabilitation, Repair, Renovation, and Improvement Works in 22 Hub Sch

Rah-e-Rahnaward Social Welfare Organization (RRSWO) invites eligible and legally registered construction contractors to submit quotations for rehabilitation, repair, renovation, and improvement works in 22 hub schools under the FAKHR project in Ghor Province.

The procurement is divided into two lots:

Lot 1: 9 schools in Dawlatyar District

Lot 2: 13 schools in Firoozkoh District

Bidders may submit an offer for either lot or both lots. A separate, complete technical and financial offer, including a completed BOQ and lot total, must be submitted for each lot. Detailed school lists, work items, and requirements are provided in the attached RFQ and school-specific BOQs.

Eligibility and Required Documents

Interested bidders must meet the eligibility and capability requirements in the RFQ, including submission of a valid business license and the supporting documents specified in Annexes 1 and 2. These include relevant work experience and references, tax documents, company bank account information, proposed staff, equipment information, and a lot-specific work plan.

Site inspections are optional. The RFQ explains the evidence required to receive points for this criterion.

No bid security is required. The successful bidder must provide the 5% performance guarantee stated in the RFQ before signing the works contract.

Bid Submission

Bids must be submitted as sealed hard copies and received—not merely dispatched—by the deadline at:

If bidding for both lots, place each lot’s separately completed offer in a clearly labelled inner envelope inside one sealed outer envelope. Mark the outer envelope with the RFQ reference and the lot number(s). Late bids will not be considered.

The full RFQ and 22 school-specific BOQs are attached to this announcement. Bidders must enter their own rates and prices in the BOQs. No estimated or internal prices are provided.
