Muslim Hands International (MHI) is an international humanitarian and development organization officially registered in Afghanistan in 2005. With offices in Kabul and Ghazni, MHI operated across 15 provinces in 2025, delivering integrated, community-driven interventions in health, education, WASH, food security, livelihoods, and emergency response. Guided by its mission to strengthen resilience and reduce vulnerability, MHI continues to support marginalized populations through sustainable, long-term programming.
In 2025, MHI reached over 316,000 individuals with multi-sectoral assistance. This included free primary healthcare for 145,700 people, quality education for 592 vulnerable students and orphans, safe drinking water for 28,308 individuals through 115 durable wells, and sponsorship support for 687 orphans. Additionally, 134,969 people received emergency relief, while 700 were empowered through livelihood initiatives. These efforts reinforced socio-economic stability and improved community resilience across Afghanistan.
