Job Summary

HamrahPay, an Electronic Money Payment Services (EMI), is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide executive leadership across financial strategy, accounting, reporting, treasury, liquidity, risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. The CFO will advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial matters, ensure strong financial governance and accountability, support sustainable business growth, and lead the Finance & Administration function in maintaining a robust, transparent, and audit-ready financial environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Experience as a CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance, or equivalent senior position is preferred.

  • Experience in banking, EMI, fintech, payment services, or other regulated financial institutions is highly preferred.

  • ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, liquidity, settlement, reconciliation, internal controls, risk management, and audit.

  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting and AML/CFT financial controls.

  • Experience working with regulators, auditors, banks, and executive management.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professional ethics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP, accounting, and financial management systems.
